“TEN CAMPING COMMANDMENTS”

GOLDEN RULE:

LEAVE THE CAMPSITE AS YOU FOUND IT

  1. No cutting of branches, no picking wildflowers, no collecting of deadfall or dead-standing wood for firewood.  Never leave fires unattended.  Always put out your fire completely before leaving your campsite.
  2. Use the outhouses or bathrooms!  No “peeing or pooping” anywhere else.
  3. No littering.  Cigarette butts and sunflower seed shells must be disposed of properly.
  4. No burning of any garbage.  Please bag your garbage securely and place it in the garbage receptacles.  Returnable bottles may be placed in the blue barrels.
  5. Pets must be quiet and on a leash.  Owners must clean up doodoo.
  6. If you have a boat, please park your trailer in the boat launch parking area or at your campsite after launching your boat.  There is absolutely no parking on the boat launch, all the room is needed to turn boat trailers around.
  7. No feeding wildlife or campground pets (dogs, horses, cats, lama, alpaca), nobody is allowed into the horse or lama pastures.
  8. No personal watercraft (seadoos etc), ATV’s or dirt bikes are allowed on site.
  9. Any alcoholic beverages must not be in view of the general public / other campers.
  10. Our resort caters to families.  Strict quiet time policy 11:00pm – 9:00 am.  No night time noise will be tolerated.  No music / radio at any time, campfire sing-a-longs are okay up to 11:00 pm.
