St. John’s Ambulance Standard First Aid Course with Level ‘A’ CPR ~ September 12-13, 2009

This first aid certificate is the one needed in the workplace to meet the requirements of the government. Minimum age is twelve.
The Standard First Aid with Level ‘A’ CPR course requires a minimum of 13 1/2 hours, we plan to run this course as a 15 hour session.
Saturday 8 hours 8 – 12; 1 – 5
TOTAL (before coffee breaks):
15 hours – (4 x 1/4 hr. breaks) = 14 hours.
The cost of the course, not including camping, will be: $150 + GST ($157.50) per person
BONUS OFFER: anyone who attends this course and then registers for one of Fred Tyrell’s Wilderness First Aid courses within the next 12 months will get a 25% discount on the cost of the wilderness course (excluding facility and meal costs). This is not transferable.

Judy’s Halloween in August!
Aug.1: Trick or Treat ~ 7-9pm; Haunted House / Dance~ 9-11pm
Dress up and join in the fun with your fellow DeGraff’s Campers as we parade around the campground for trick or treats. Adults…you too may bring a ‘liquid treats container’. Decorate your campsite as you wish. Check out our haunted house at the club & info shacks. Then let’s rock ‘n roll with a Halloween dance.
Portable Climbing Wall
August 1 ~ 11am-7pm
Come join us in “Monkey Town”! Challenge yourself on a 32 ft. climbing wall.
The wall is rigged with safety belaying systems and has nine SAFE routes to choose from.

Wild Willow Sauna
July 25 ~ 2-4pm
Treat yourself to this refreshing and relaxing willow sauna on the beach, then cool off in our “invigorating” Gull Lake with a game of sponge ball tag!
